Fiorella Castillo is a bilingual (English/ Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
Fiorella has over twelve years of experience working in multiple settings, including hospitals, psychosocial rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities.
She has worked with diverse people of different ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic backgrounds and is passionate about working with older adults.
Her clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, and grief. Fiorella has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and reminiscence therapy.
She utilizes an integrative approach to assist clients in reaching their personal goals. She is empathetic, open-minded, versatile, direct, easy to talk to, and genuine.
