Abigail Marshall is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who earned her Master of Social Work from
the University of South Florida. She has experience providing individual and group counseling in
outpatient behavioral health settings, along with crisis intervention and resource navigation. Abigail has
supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, substance use and
recovery, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. Her clinical
interests include trauma, anxiety, obsessive and intrusive thought patterns, women’s issues, and
neurodivergence.
Abigail takes a compassionate, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, creating a
supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, respected, and understood. She works
collaboratively with clients to explore patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop
practical coping strategies, and identify changes that align with their individual needs and goals.
Abigail values culturally responsive care and approaches therapy with empathy, curiosity, and respect for
each client’s lived experience. Her goal is to help clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen their ability to
navigate life’s challenges, and feel more confident making changes that are meaningful to them.
In her time outside of clinical practice, Abigail recharges by diving into a good book, strength training,
and trying to win the approval of her independent calico cat.
