Gilda Mayeta is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a master’s degree in advanced family practice from Florida International University and a post-graduate psychiatric mental health certification from the University of Miami.
Before transitioning to psychiatric nursing, she spent over a decade as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where she developed a robust foundation in patient care across various settings. Gilda began her medical career at the School of Medicine in Havana, where she earned her degree as a Medical Doctor. This foundational training has profoundly influenced her approach to psychiatric nursing, blending traditional medical practices with modern mental health techniques. With a commitment to individualized care and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, she strives to deliver compassionate and effective treatment to all her patients.
